The storm

On Wednesday the wind and endless rain managed to knock down two trees and 5 giant branches across the road and powerlines. Our road is two lanes in either direction. It also meant that our new fixed powerline to our house was also taken down by another tree leaving us with no power to our house again. I had spent all afternoon making dinner too so we couldn't eat it as we have an electric oven. There are still massive branches next to the footpaths where they where cut up and dragged off the roads. From our kitchen window we can also see a nice hole in the tiles on the neighbors roof.
